Selling on Quibly is straightforward, but there are a few responsibilities that come with it. Following these keeps your account in good standing and ensures a good experience for your buyers.
Accurate listings
Your listings must honestly represent what you're selling. This means:
- Photos must show the actual item, not stock images or photos of a different item
- Condition must be accurately described, including any flaws, damage or missing parts
- Descriptions must not misrepresent the item's brand, authenticity or specifications
- Pricing must reflect the item being sold, no placeholder or bait-and-switch listings
Only selling permitted items
You're responsible for ensuring everything you list is allowed on Quibly and, if shipping, permitted by our delivery partners. See What can I sell on Quibly? for the full prohibited items list.
Fulfilling orders promptly
Once an item sells, you're expected to fulfil the order without delay:
- Delivery orders: ship within 72 hours of purchase
- Collection orders: respond to the buyer within 24 hours to arrange a time and meeting place, and confirm collection within 5 days of purchase
- Returns: accept all valid return requests and respond within the required timeframes. Collection orders are not eligible for return
Communicating with buyers
Respond to messages promptly and keep buyers informed. Poor communication is one of the most common reasons buyers raise disputes.
One account only
You may only operate one Quibly account. Creating multiple accounts is a violation of our policies and may result in all associated accounts being suspended.
What happens if you don't meet these responsibilities
Listings that violate our policies will be removed. Violations, fraudulent activity or breaches will result in account suspension. A single violation of our policies is enough to trigger a suspension.
If you believe a decision has been made in error, you can contact our support team.
The bottom line
List items accurately, only sell what's permitted, fulfil orders on time and communicate well. These are the basics of being a good seller on Quibly, and the best way to build a reputation that keeps buyers coming back.
