Quibly charges two types of fee: a platform fee on transactions, and an optional subscription fee if you choose a paid plan. Here’s a quick overview of both.
Platform fees
Buyer platform fee
When you buy an item, the platform fee is added at checkout and shown clearly before you confirm payment. You’ll always see the full breakdown before you commit.
Buyer fee: 4% of (item price + shipping) + £0.50
See Understanding buyer fees for more details.
Seller platform fee
As a seller, your platform fee is deducted automatically from your payout once the order completes. There’s nothing to pay upfront or manage manually. The seller fee depends on your plan.
Free and Enterprise sellers: 4% of (item price + shipping) + £0.50
Pro sellers: 3% of (item price + shipping) + £0.50
See Understanding seller fees for more details.
Private and business sellers
Quibly has two seller types: private and business. Your seller type doesn't affect the platform fee, but it does affect your return obligations and how you represent yourself to buyers.
- Private sellers: individuals selling personal items. Buyers have 48 hours to request a return
- Business sellers: anyone buying to resell, selling regularly, or operating commercially. Buyers have 14 days to request a return
