Quibly Help Centre

Why was my listing flagged or removed?

Every listing on Quibly goes through an automated security check at the time of listing. If your listing was flagged or removed, here's what that means and what to do next.

Why listings get flagged

Our automated checks scan listings for policy violations before they go live. Common reasons a listing may be flagged include:

  • Prohibited item: the item or keywords in the listing match our prohibited items list
  • Inappropriate content: the listing contains explicit, offensive or otherwise unsuitable content
  • Personal or financial information: the listing contains sensitive data such as contact details, payment information or ID documents
  • Reported by another user: a buyer or seller has reported the listing for review

Flagged vs removed

  • Flagged: your listing has been held for manual review and is not currently visible to buyers. You'll receive an email notification. If the review finds no issue, your listing will be approved and can go live
  • Removed: your listing has been taken down following a review. You'll receive an email notification explaining the reason and next steps

What to do if you think it's a mistake

If you believe your listing was flagged or removed in error, contact our support team with your listing details and an explanation.

If the removal was due to a genuine policy violation, your listing won't be reinstated. In some cases, a violation may also result in your account being suspended.

Avoiding future flags

  • Check the prohibited items list before listing anything you're unsure about
  • Use accurate titles and descriptions and avoid keywords associated with counterfeits or prohibited goods
  • Don't include personal contact details, prices in other currencies or links to other platforms in your listing

The bottom line

Listings are checked automatically at the time of listing. If yours was flagged or removed, you'll receive a notification with the reason. If you think it was a mistake, contact support to appeal. The best way to avoid flags is to list accurately and check our prohibited items list if you're unsure.
