Quibly is AI-native by design. When you upload photos of your item, our listing tool analyses them and drafts your listing, so you can start selling fast. Here's what it drafts, and what you need to check before you publish.
What Quibly generates for you
After you upload your two photos, Quibly generates:
- Product name: a clear, descriptive name for your item based on what's in your photos
- Price suggestion: a suggested price based on similar items and current market value, to be used as a guide
- Description: details about the item including brand, features and other relevant information
- Category: the suggested category and subcategory placement so buyers can find your item easily
- Item details: for categories like Tech, Watches and Jewellery, Quibly also generates specific attributes such as storage, screen size or movement type, so your listing shows up when buyers use filters to search. Check these against the item itself, as buyers rely on them
- Condition: a suggested condition based on your photos (Like new, Very good, Good etc). Photos can't show everything, so always check this yourself
- Shipping cost: estimated from the item's size and weight for Evri or DPD delivery. Check the parcel size is right, as it can't be changed once your listing is live
This all happens in seconds. Then it's over to you to check it.
You're always in control
Everything Quibly drafts is a suggestion to help you get started faster. Nothing goes live until you publish it, and you can edit every detail before you do.
Before you publish, you can:
- Change the title to your own wording
- Edit or rewrite the description
- Adjust the suggested price up or down and see how it affects your estimated payout
- Add more details, update or remove anything that's not quite right
- Double-check the category and condition and change them if needed
- Enable offers
- Select a different parcel size or offer free shipping
Think of it like Quibly drafting the listing for you, but you're the editor-in-chief.
You're responsible for accuracy
Quibly's listing tool can make mistakes. Once you publish your listing, you're responsible for all of it, including anything Quibly drafted for you. This means:
- The description matches what you're actually selling
- The condition is described truthfully
- The price is what you're genuinely willing to accept
- Any brand or model named is correct and the item is genuine. A brand name generated from your photos doesn’t mean Quibly has checked the item is authentic
- The photos show the actual item you'll be sending
Quibly drafts your listing to save you time, but it's your responsibility to make sure everything is correct before you list. If something turns out to be wrong, the buyer can request a return as not as described, and in most cases you'll cover the return postage.
What if the suggestions aren't quite right?
Quibly might misidentify an item, miss a flaw or suggest the wrong size or condition. Check every detail and edit anything that's wrong before you publish.
If you notice Quibly consistently getting something wrong (like misidentifying an item), you can:
- Edit the details manually
- Take clearer photos that show the item from different angles
- Report a technical issue through our support form so we can improve
The bottom line
Quibly drafts your listing, you check it and you list it. Once it's published, you're responsible for it, so review everything and only publish when you're sure it's accurate.
