Quibly Help Centre

How does Quibly create my listing details?

Quibly is AI-native by design. When you upload photos of your item, our AI analyses them and does the heavy lifting to get you selling fast. Here's what happens and what you need to know.

What Quibly generates for you

After you upload your two photos, Quibly automatically creates:

  • Product name: a clear, descriptive name for your item based on what's in your photos
  • Price suggestion: a recommended selling price based on similar items and current market value
  • Description: details about the item including brand, features and other relevant information
  • Category: the suggested category and subcategory placement so buyers can find your item easily
  • Item details: for categories like Tech, Watches and Jewellery, Quibly also generates specific attributes such as storage, screen size or movement type, so your listing shows up when buyers use filters to search
  • Condition: the condition of the item based on the photos (Like new, Very good, Good etc)
  • Shipping cost: calculated based on the item's size and weight for Evri or DPD delivery

This all happens in seconds, meaning you can go from photo to live listing incredibly quickly.

You're always in control

Here's what's important: everything Quibly generates is a suggestion to help you get started faster. You can review and edit every single detail before your listing goes live.

Before you publish, you can:

  • Change the title to your own wording
  • Edit or rewrite the description
  • Adjust the suggested price up or down
  • Add more details, update or remove anything that's not quite right
  • Double-check the category and condition and change them if needed
  • Enable offers
  • Select a different parcel size or offer free shipping

Think of it like Quibly drafting the listing for you, but you're the editor-in-chief.

You're responsible for accuracy

Once you review and publish your listing, you are responsible for making sure all the information is accurate and honest. This means:

  • The description matches what you're actually selling
  • The condition is described truthfully
  • The price is what you're genuinely willing to accept
  • The photos show the actual item you'll be sending

Quibly creates the draft to save you time, but it's your responsibility to make sure everything is correct before you list.

What if the suggestions aren't quite right?

Sometimes Quibly might not get everything perfect and that's okay! Just edit the listing before you publish.

If you notice Quibly consistently getting something wrong (like misidentifying an item), you can:

The bottom line

Quibly speeds up the listing process, but you always have the final say. Review everything, edit what needs changing, ensure it's accurate, and only publish when you're completely happy with your listing.
