Account suspension and what to do

In some cases, Quibly may suspend an account to protect the community. Here's why it happens and what to do if it affects you.

Why accounts get suspended

Accounts may be suspended for:

Your Account Status page

You can check your account standing at any time from the Account Status button at the top of your Dashboard. This page shows:

  • Your current standing: confirmed as in good standing if no moderation actions have been taken
  • A count of any warnings or removals on your account
  • The option to contest any decision within 30 days. Appeals are reviewed within 48 hours, and if upheld, any affected listings are restored

What happens when your account is suspended

You'll receive an email explaining the reason for suspension. During a suspension you won't be able to buy, sell, or access your account. Any active listings will be paused and pending orders will be managed by our support team.

How to appeal a suspension

If you believe your account was suspended in error:

  1. Check your email for the suspension notice
  2. Contact our support team with your account details and the reason you believe the suspension is incorrect
  3. Our team will review and respond within 48 hours

Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We'll reinstate your account if the suspension was made in error.

Avoiding suspension

The best way to keep your account in good standing is to follow our community guidelines, list items accurately, complete transactions promptly, and only operate one account per person.
