Cards we don't accept
Like many UK businesses, we've chosen to accept only standard cards to keep our platform affordable. We don't accept premium or rewards tier cards like:
- Visa Signature, Visa Infinite
- Mastercard World, Mastercard World Elite

- Business or corporate cards with premium benefits
If your card is declined at checkout, try using a different card or payment method.

All payments on Quibly are:
- Processed through Stripe, a trusted and secure payment provider
- Protected with 3D Secure authentication
- Encrypted end-to-end, your card details are never stored on Quibly's servers
- Held securely until the seller ships your item, so you won't be charged if the seller doesn't ship
Common questions
My card was declined. What should I do?
First, check if your card is a premium or rewards card. If it's a standard card and was still declined, contact your bank as they may have flagged the transaction for security reasons. You can also try using a different card or digital wallet.
Are digital wallets more secure than using my card directly?
Both are equally secure. Digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay add an extra layer of protection because they don't share your actual card number with merchants, they use a unique token for each transaction.
The bottom line
Quibly accepts standard Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. We don't accept premium tier cards. All payments are secure with 3D Secure and processed through Stripe.
