Creating a Quibly account takes just a few minutes. Here's what you need and how to get started.
What you'll need
- A valid email address
- Access to your email inbox
- To be 18 or over, or a parent or legal guardian setting up an account for a child aged 13 to 17
- A valid UK address (for delivery and returns, asked when you buy or list your first item)
- A valid form of ID (for sellers)
Creating your account
There are four ways to create a Quibly account:
- Continue with Google: sign up using your existing Google account. No password or email verification needed.
- Continue with Apple: sign up using your existing Apple account. No password or email verification needed.
- Sign in with email link: enter your email and we'll send you a secure one-time link. No password needed, and your email is verified instantly.
- Email and password: sign up with your email address and create a password. You'll need to verify your email before your account is fully active.

Your details
Signing up asks for a few basics:
- Name
- Password, if you are signing up with email and password rather than Google, Apple or an email link
- Referral code (optional), if someone has shared one with you
You will also need to agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and can choose whether to receive occasional product updates and offers.
Your account is now active and you can start buying immediately!
Setting up to sell
If you want to sell items, you will be asked the following when listing your first item:
- Select your seller type, private or business
- Create your shop: select a shop name, banner and icon. Your shop is where all your listings live and buyers can browse what you're selling
- Add your address and phone number if you want DPD tracking updates by text. Your exact address is never shown publicly, only your general area is visible to other users
- Set up your payment details through Stripe
Age verification
You must be 18 or over to hold a Quibly account. A parent or legal guardian can set up and manage an account for a child aged 13 to 17 and is responsible for activity on it. Children under 13 cannot use Quibly. We will ask you to verify your ID before listing your first item.
What happens next
Once your account is set up:
- You can start buying items immediately
- You can list up to 10 items per month on the free plan
- You'll receive notifications about your orders and messages
- You can customise your notification preferences in your account settings
- You can customise your shop
The Quibly app is now live on the Apple App Store. Android is coming soon.
