You can add multiple items to your cart and check out in one go. Here's how it works and what you need to know about delivery, payments and managing items in your cart.
How your cart works
When you add multiple items to your cart:
- All items appear together in a single cart
- Items are grouped by seller so you can see what's coming from where
- The delivery fee and platform fee shown are combined totals
- You pay once for everything
- Each item is tracked separately with its own delivery method and tracking information
Delivery and collection items
- You can add delivery items from multiple sellers to your cart and check out together
- Collection items must be from the same seller and can't be combined with delivery items in the same order
- If you want to collect multiple items from different sellers, you'll need to place separate orders
After purchase, each item gets its own tracking information and delivery updates on your order page.
How costs are calculated
At checkout, you'll see:
- Item value: The combined price of all items
- Delivery fee: The total shipping cost across all items
- Collection: Shows as 'Free' if any items are collection
- Platform fee: The total platform fee across all items
For more details on fees, see Understanding buyer fees.
Payment
You make one payment that covers all items, shipping, and platform fees. Your payment is split automatically between the sellers.
After checkout
After you pay, here's what happens:
- Each item appears as a separate entry on your dashboard with its own Order details page
- Items that need shipping get individual tracking numbers
- Items for collection show collection details and confirmation status
See Tracking your order for more details on how to track orders.
If something goes wrong with one item
Because each item is tracked separately, any issues (e.g. faulty item, seller didn't ship on time) are handled individually. Other deliveries aren't affected.
Each item has its own return window based on the seller type (48 hours for private sellers, 14 days for business sellers). See How returns and refunds work for details.
Note: Collection orders cannot be returned. If there's an issue with a collection order, contact our support team.
What if an item becomes unavailable at checkout?
If an item sells out or is removed between adding it to your cart and checking out, you'll see a notification that the item is no longer available.
The bottom line
Add as many items as you want to your cart and check out once. Delivery items from different sellers can be combined, but collection items must be from the same seller and can't mix with delivery items. You pay once for everything. The checkout shows total costs for items, shipping and fees. After checkout, each item is tracked individually with its own delivery method and return window. If there's a problem with one item, it doesn't affect your others.
