Why we require users to be 18+
The 18+ requirement applies to all Quibly users, both buyers and sellers. This is because Quibly facilitates financial transactions and legally binding purchase agreements, which require users to be adults. It also allows us to keep the platform appropriate and safe for all members of the community.
When we verify your age
We may ask you to verify your age at the following points:
- When creating an account
- When connecting your bank account via Stripe
- For high-value transactions
- When upgrading to a Pro or Enterprise account
- If our systems flag a potential age concern
How age verification works
Age verification is done through ID verification. You'll be asked to provide a form of government-issued ID such as a passport or driving licence. This process is handled securely and your ID is not stored by Quibly beyond the verification check.
What happens if verification fails
