Enabling offers on your listing

Offers let buyers propose a price lower than your asking price. Enabling them is optional, and you stay in control of what you accept.

How to enable offers

When creating or editing a listing, click on ‘Enable Offers’. You'll need to set two amounts:

  • Minimum offer: the lowest amount you're willing to consider. Any offers lower than this amount will be automatically rejected
  • Auto-accept amount: if a buyer offers this amount or more, the offer is automatically accepted and the sale is confirmed without you needing to review it. Buyers don't see this threshold.

Responding to offers

Offers that fall between your minimum and auto-accept amounts land in your inbox for manual review. Your response window is 48 hours. You can:

  • Accept: the buyer is notified and has 24 hours to complete payment at the offered price
  • Decline: the buyer is notified and can make another offer (up to 3 attempts per listing)
  • Ignore: offer expires automatically after 48 hours if you don't respond

Managing offers

You can view and respond to all pending offers from your Order Dashboard.

Once an offer is accepted either by you or automatically via your auto-accept amount, the listing is reserved for that buyer until the payment window closes. If they don't pay in time, the offer expires and the listing becomes available again.

Turning offers off

You can disable offers on a listing at any time by editing the listing.

Things to know

  • Buyers can make up to 3 offers on the same listing. After that they can only buy at the full asking price
  • Buyers don't see your minimum or auto-accept amounts, they only see the listed price and the option to make an offer
  • If your listing sells to another buyer while an offer is pending, the offer is cancelled automatically
  • Enabling offers doesn't change your listed price, it just opens the door to negotiation

Don’t forget to enable notifications on your devices to receive real-time alerts of offers and other relevant updates.

The bottom line

Enable offers when creating or editing a listing, set a minimum to filter out low offers, and an auto-accept amount to close the right deals instantly. Anything in between lands in your inbox for you to decide. You have 48 hours to respond to an offer before it expires.
