Account security best practices

A few simple habits go a long way in keeping your Quibly account secure.

Use a strong password

Your password must be long and include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using the same password you use elsewhere because if another site is compromised, your Quibly account could be at risk too.

Alternative sign-in methods

If security is a priority, consider signing up with Google, Apple or email link instead. Neither requires a password, which means there’s nothing to be phished or leaked in a third-party breach. See Sign-up methods explained for more detail.

Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second verification step when you log in. See Setting up two-factor authentication for a step-by-step guide on how to enable it.

Watch out for phishing

Quibly will never ask for your password, bank details or personal information via email or message. If you receive something that looks like it's from Quibly but asks for sensitive information, don't click any links. Instead, contact our support team to verify.

Only pay through Quibly

All payments on Quibly are processed through Stripe, our secure payment provider. Never send money outside the platform. If someone asks you to pay outside Quibly, it's a scam. Report them immediately.

Keep your details up to date

Make sure the contact details on your account are current. If you ever lose access to your account, we'll use your registered information to verify your identity.

If you think your account has been compromised

Change your password immediately if you have one, via Settings > Password & Login. Then contact our support team and we'll help you secure your account.

The bottom line

Keep your account details up to date and always pay through Quibly’s secure system. Consider Google or email link sign up and add 2FA for extra security. If you have a password, make it strong and unique. We’ll alert you to any unusual activity. If something looks off, change your password straight away and get in touch.
