Quibly offers four ways to create an account and sign in. You can use whichever works best for you, and switch between them at any time.
Continue with Google
Sign up or sign in using your existing Google account. No password to create and no email verification step. Quibly receives only your name and email address from Google.
To use it:
- Select “Continue with Google” on the sign-up or sign-in screen
- Choose or confirm your Google account
- You’ll be signed in and taken to profile setup (new accounts) or your homepage (returning users)
Good to know: if you already have a Quibly account registered to the same email address, signing in with Google will link to that account automatically.
Continue with Apple
Sign up or sign in using your existing Apple account. No password to create and no email verification step. Quibly receives your name and email address from Apple.
To use it:
- Select “Continue with Apple” on the sign-up or sign-in screen
- Sign in with your Apple account when prompted
- You’ll be signed in and taken to profile setup (new accounts) or your homepage (returning users)
Sign in with email link
A password-free option. Enter your email address and we’ll send you a secure, one-time link. Tap it to sign in instantly. No password needed and your email is verified automatically.
To use it:
- Select “Sign in with email link” on the sign-up or sign-in screen
- Enter your email address and tap “Send sign-in link”
- Check your inbox for an email with the subject “Your Quibly sign-in link”
- Tap the link in the email and you’ll be signed in automatically
Good to know:
- The link expires after 1 hour. If it expires, you can request a new one
- If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folder
- If you open the link on a different device to the one you requested it on, you’ll be asked to confirm your email address before signing in
Email and password
The traditional sign-up option. Create an account with your email address and a password of your choosing. You’ll need to verify your email before your account is fully active.
To use it:
- Select “Sign up” and choose the email and password option
- Enter your email address and create a password
- Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link to activate your account
Good to know: your password must be at least 12 characters and pass a strength check. See Account security best practices for tips on choosing a strong password.
Can’t remember how you signed up?
If you’re not sure which method you used, try signing in with Google or Apple first. If your account was created that way, you’ll be taken straight in.
If you’re still stuck:
- Try “Sign in with email link”. This works for any account registered to that email address, even if you originally signed up with a password
- If you’d prefer to use a password going forward, tap “Forgot password?” on the sign-in screen. Enter your email and we’ll send a reset link. Once set, you can sign in with either your password or an email link, both will work
Switching between sign-in methods
You can use any of the four methods to sign in, as long as they’re associated with the same email address.
The bottom line
All four methods get you into your account. Google, Apple and email link are the quickest and require no password. Email and password is the traditional route. If you ever lose access, “Sign in with email link” or “Forgot password?” will get you back in.
